I have been coaching for many years without even realising it. Through my involvement is sport in my younger years, my career and music in my current years coaching has been both given and received in copious amounts. My career background is in Network engineering for a large communications company both as an engineer and as a software engineer. Whilst there I developed an interest in team facilitation and became an 'Agile Coach' helping teams make the transformation to Agile Software development practices.I am currently formalising my coaching skills with the Coaching Academy studying for a diploma in Personal Performance Coaching, which I aim to complete before the end of 2009. In order to qualify for the diploma I have to complete forty coaching sessions - a bit like getting your 'flying hours in'! I have two children, now grown up but still at home where they are very welcome. In August 2010 I will marry my long term partner and soul mate, Debs.

Since the mid 90's I have
been actively involved in the local East Anglian music scene. As a bass
player I have been fortunate enough to have played with some of the
finest musicians around. Details of my current band can be found here.As a sound engineer I have also recorded many albums some of which can be found on this portfolio. Currently in the studio I am working on a couple of projects with local artists and a project for a local hypnotherapist. This has led me to consider further 'spoken word' recordings of my own. I have plans in place to build a collection of self-help, relaxation, hypnotherapy and coaching audio products that will be of high quality in terms of content and listening experience. As part of my own self development I am of course working with my own coach I won't go into too many details here - as it's confidential of course! One of the goals I have set for myself is a 'fun' goal of learning to sing. This is very exiting and challenging for me and has required lot's of work on my own self limiting beliefs! The goal is set, seat belts tightened, lessons have commenced, look out world here I come;)
